The Lady Texans came out fearless over the first 20 minutes, with Elizabeth Cera and Ugochinyere Nwarie each chipping in six points to lead South Plains to a 27-23 lead at the half.

    LEVELLAND— The South Plains College Lady Texans drummed Clarendon 92-48 to pick up their second conference win Monday night at the Texan Dome. SPC (14-8, 2-4) came out with urgency in the first 10 minutes of the contest, jumping out to a 19-0 lead after knocking down eight of its first 14 shots from the field in the first quarter. The Lady Texans would continue the assault and outscored the Lady Bulldogs 20-12 over the next seven minutes, and took a 30-point, 45-15 lead into halftime.

    BIG SPRING— The South Plains College Lady Texans fell to the Howard Lady Hawks 63-59 in overtime Thursday night in Big Spring. Howard jumped out to a 19-6 lead after the first ten minutes of the contest, but South Plains (13-8, 1-4) answered back and outscored the Lady Hawks 37-21 over the next 20 minutes to take a 43-40 lead into the fourth quarter.

    Levelland— The South Plains College Lady Texans fell to the ninth-ranked New Mexico Junior College Lady Thunderbirds 73-68 Saturday at the Texan Dome in Levelland. New Mexico went on a 11-1 run early in the first quarter, but the Lady Texans showed resilience and bounced back to take a 38-30 lead into the locker room at the break.

Dabraisia Baty totaled 14 points and seven boards for the Lady Texans, while Ramiah Henry finished with 11 points and two boards.

    Scottsdale— The South Plains College Lady Texans ended their four game road trip at the Bill Culver Memorial Classic in Arizona with a dominating 65-51 drumming of Phoenix College. Jasmyne Martin shot lights out for South Plains (12-5, 1-1), knocking down 10 of her 12 shots attempted, finishing the game with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists. Dabraisia Baty was also in double figures for South Plains, racking up 16 points and four assists while going 4-for-7 from the floor and 8-for-12 from the free throw line.

    Oklahoma—The South Plains College Lady Texans improved their record to 8-3 on the season this weekend at the Garden City College Thanksgiving Classic in Oklahoma. South Plains dropped their first game to Garden City 90-70 on Friday before bouncing back to defeat Western Oklahoma State 72-51 on Saturday. Taylor Holley led the Lady Texas with 26 points and five rebounds against Garden City as she went 9-13 from the field and 7-9 from long distance.

South Plains had six players in double figures, including Ugochinyere Nwarie who went 12-12 from the floor, finishing with 24 points and nine rebounds for the Lady Texans. Evelyn Omemmah recorded a double-double racking up 14 points and 13 boards for South Plains.

Aliezza Brown finished with 15 points for South Plains, while Ramiah Henry scored 14 points and had nine rebounds.

    Levelland—The South Plains College Lady Texans overcame an early halftime deficit to defeat Southwest Christian College 60-54 in overtime Saturday afternoon at the Texan Dome. Aliezza Brown led all scorers with 17 points for the Lady Texans, shooting 50% from the field in the contest. Jasmyne Martin racked up 12 points and five rebounds for SPC, while Yanina Inkina scored 10 points and hauled in 16 rebounds.

Jasmyne Martin scored 12 points for the Lady Texans, while Evelyn Omemmah and Elizabeth Cera each had nine.
