Arizona— The Lady Texans picked up their first win following the Christmas break, downing Chandler-Gilbert 63-53 Monday in Arizona to imrpove to 10-4 on the season. 

Freshman guard Jasmyne Martin went 8-for-10 from the floor en route to a 17 point performance, while Eizabeth Cera finished with 15 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assits for the Lady Texans.

Mia Cooper and Ramiah Henry each scored six points for South Plains, while Evelyn Omemmah, Sujei Cera and Ugochinyere Nwarie each contributed with four points.
