Lady Texans Take First at Odessa Rodeo
February 25, 2016ODESSA—The South Plains College rodeo teams traveled to Odessa over the weekend to compete in their first competition of the spring season. The Texans came into the spring ranked 13th in the Southwest region with a total of 405 points, while they Lady Texans began their campaign ranked third in the region, just behind Eastern New Mexico University and Texas Tech University.

October 01, 2015Vernon— The South Plains College men's and women's rodeo teams concluded their third event this past weekend at Vernon College. The women's team, led by Shay Spitz, Rainy Robinson, Kortney McReynolds and Kara Burns brought home a third place finish after racking up 187.5 total points.
