
LEVELLAND — The South Plains College women's basketball team won its 10th consecutive game Monday, besting Wayland Baptist JV 93-51 at the Texan Dome.
The Lady Texans will be back on the floor on Tuesday when they play host to Cisco at 6 p.m. at the Dome. The contest will stream live at spctexans.com.
Saher Alizada led all scorers with 19 points and two rebounds off the bench, connecting on eight of eight shots from the floor, and was three for three from the 3-point line. Isabel Joai netted 15 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals, dropping in seven of 10 shots from the field.
Bella Belong and Chisom Oguego each netted 12 points for the Lady Texans, who shot a 51 percent clip from the field and forced Wayland to shoot just 35 percent in the contest.
