MIDLAND, TX — Dilangue Cruz and Bella Belong combined for 26 points Thursday as the No. 15-ranked South Plains College women's basketball team won its sixth straight game, downing Hill College 76-42 at the Chaparral Center.

The Lady Texans improve to 6-1 on the season and will be back on the floor on Sunday when they take on Cisco at 2 p.m. in Cisco.

Belong went six-for-eight from the floor to go along with six boards over 19 minutes. Cruz provided 13 points off the bench, connecting on six of 12 shots from the field, and also grabbed four rebounds in 19 minutes. Taliah Cornish tallied 12 points while Isabel Joai finished with nine points and seven rebounds for South Plains.
