TYLER, TX – The South Plains College women's basketball team improved to 3-1 over the weekend with a pair of wins at the Tyler Junior College Classic.

The Lady Texans topped Tyler 76-55 on Friday and defeated Angelina 74-45 on Saturday to close out the two-game road stint. The host team did not provide stats for either game, and this story will be updated when those become available.

The Lady Texans will be back on the road Nov. 15-16 as they travel to Paris, Texas for the Paris JC Classic. The Lady Texans will match up with No. 15 Trinity Valley on Nov. 15 at 1 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. contest with Paris on Nov. 16.
