ODESSA — Six players scored in double figures Thursday as the South Plains College women's basketball team extended its win streak to six games, drumming Odessa College 95-57 at the OC Sports Center.

South Plains sits atop the conference standings, improving to 12-5 on the year and 6-0 in league play as they look ahead to Monday when they travel to Midland to take on the Lady Chaparrals at 5:45 p.m. The contest will stream live at spctexans.com and can be heard locally on KLVT Radio AM1230.

Ashala Moseberry posted a game-high 18 points and grabbed seven boards, dropping in 6 of 12 shots from the floor and was 4 of 8 from distance over 30 minutes. Vitoria Carvalho totaled 14 points and 11 rebounds coming off the bench for South Plains, while Viktoria Ivanova netted 15 points and pulled in five boards.

Raija Todd poured in 14 points and four rebounds, while Celia Sumbane finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Matilda Soderlund chipped in 10 points off the bench as SPC shot a 39 percent clip and dominated the battle on the glass 45-22. SPC totaled 22 points on second-chance opportunities, posted 40 points inside the paint, and tallied 28 points off turnovers.
