CARTHAGE — The South Plains College women's basketball team fell to No. 24 Panola College 74-54 Saturday at the Panola College Thanksgiving Classic.
South Plains moves to 5-3 on the season and will return to action Dec. 10-11 at the Connors State College Classic.
Sophomore Ashala Moseberry led South Plains on the offensive end with 11 points, while Celia Sumbane poured in 10 for SPC. Viktoria Ivanova netted eight points, while Matilda Soderlund and Martyna Czescik eight had seven points.
