DENISON, TX — Three players netted double figures Thursday as the fifth-ranked South Plains College women's basketball team improved to 4-0 on the season as they outlasted Grayson College 77-71 in their first of three games at the Grayson College Classic.

SPC will look to remain perfect on Friday when they take on #8 Trinity Valley, followed by a 3 p.m. matchup with #12 Weatherford College on Saturday.

Freshman Raija Todd led all scorers in the contest, tallying a season-high 24 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. Sophomore Viktoria Ivanova and Celia Sumbane each finished with 13 points, while sophomore Ashala Moseberry dropped in eight.
