The top four teams in the WJCAC qualify for the Region V Tournament Mar. 4-7 in Brownwood, Texas.
Victoria Lopez led the Lady Texans with a season-high of 16 points in the game. Courtney Randle added 13 points, along with Paris Townsend's 12.
With two conference games left in the season, the Lady Texans have their backs against the wall with the two teams tied for second in the WJCAC, Midland and Odessa.
Midland College (18-10, 9-4) will be coming to the Texan Dome, Monday, Feb. 23, to take on the Lady Texans, and Thursday, Feb. 26 South Plains will head to Odessa College (23-6, 9-4).
Monday's game against Midland will also be Homecoming for 2015, so come and support the Texans and Lady Texans. Women's basketball will begin at 5:45 p.m with the Texans to follow immediately after.
