They drove offensively, even when New Mexico took their defense to a full court man-to-man pressure.

Lady Thunderbirds held the lead, 42-19, at the half.

Into the second half the Lady Texans moved the ball well, pushing the game up and down the court.

Never giving up, the Lady Texans made some impressive plays. Markeyla Hicks drove in past three New Mexico players for two points.  Then New Mexico's offense stumble allowingVictoria Lopez the opportunity to steal for another two points.

The Lady Texans improvement was seen throughout the game.
