BORGER – The South Plains College Texans and Lady Texans postponed basketball games that were originally scheduled for Monday evening have been rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon.  At 3 p.m., the Texans will tipoff and the Lady Texans will follow at 5 p.m.

The Lady Texans (22-5, 9-3 in WJCAC) have secured their spot in next month's Region 5 tournament held March 6-9 at Lubbock Christian University's Rip Griffin Center, and are still in the hunt for the WJCAC championship with only two games to go.  The SPC women trail Midland by one game for the conference lead.

The Texans (20-7, 9-5 WJCAC), meanwhile, are tied for fourth in the league but own a season sweep over Midland that would give them the advantage in the event of a tie.  South Plains controls their own destiny and will advance to the Region 5 tournament if they defeat Frank Phillips and Clarendon over the final two contests.
