ALERT:  Games have been moved up 15 minutes.  Lady Texans will tip at 5:30 p.m. (6:30 CST) and Texans at 7:30 (8:30 CST).

LEVELLAND, Texas - The South Plains College Texans and Lady Texans will take their games to Hobbs, N.M. for showdowns against New Mexico Junior College Monday evening beginning at 5:45 p.m. for the women and 7:45 p.m. for the men. Contests are being held in the Mountain Time Zone.

The Lady Texans (13-6, 3-2) return to action after Thursday's non-conference rout of Clarendon College in which they outscored the Lady Dawgs 61-24 in the second half to claim a 103-58 win and find themselves in a three-way tie for third place in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) behind Midland (19-4, 4-1) and New Mexico (18-4, 4-1).

The Texans (14-7, 3-3) currently find themselves in a tie for the fourth spot within the WJCAC with New Mexico (16-4, 3-3) to set up critical games for both squads in what looks to be an even matchup. South Plains is averaging 76.6 points per game on the season and allowing 64.1. New Mexico averages slightly more at 79.3 and the T-Birds give up just less than 62 points.

Due to conflicts, the games will not be broadcast on KLVT 1230 AM. A live video stream will be available by visiting www.spctexans.com. Unfortunately, audio commentary will be unavailable.
