Texans and Lady Texans travel to Frank Phillips Monday

LEVELLAND, Texas - The South Plains College Texans (13-6, 2-2) and Lady Texans (11-6, 2-2) will take their respective two game winning streaks on the road to Borger where they will square off with Frank Phillips College. 5:45 p.m. is the scheduled tip-off time for the women's game, while the men will begin at 7:45 p.m.

After beginning the season 0-2 in Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) play, both the Texans and Lady Texans have climbed back up the standings after defeating Western Texas and Odessa in their last two outings.

The Lady Plainsmen (4-15, 0-3) enter the game winless in conference play, while the Plainsmen (9-11, 1-3), who began the conference season with three straight losses, are coming off a victory over New Mexico Military College.

After their games in Borger, the Texans and Lady Texans will return home to the Texan Dome on Thursday, January 27 where the SPC women will square off against Clarendon College in a non-conference game at 5 p.m. The men will then continue their conference schedule as they host the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos at 7 p.m.
