High School:  St. Frances Academy class of 2009
Accomplishments at St. Frances:  In addition to participating in basketball, Sophy also played netball and volleyball.  Academically, she won awards for her work in geometry, algebra 2, English, religion, and Spanish.  Also a member of the National Honor Society and a scholar.  College Major:  Nursing   Personal:  Born January 6, 1991 in Polokuane, South Africa, Sophy is the daughter of Johamah Ngobeni and she has a brother (10) as well as a sister (23).  She chose to attend South Plains College because she felt it was a very good program to help her improve her skills athletically and academically.  After SPC she plans to complete her bachelors degree at a division I university so that she can better help those in need.  Favorite Athlete:  Candice Parker
