High School:  Vega High School class of 2009
Accomplishments at Vega:  Received many awards in her senior including:  District MVP, Named to All-Region and All-State teams, Amarillo Globe Athlete of the Week, Amarillo Globe Super team, State All-Tournament team.  Teysha also helped lead Vega to the state semi-final game after averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 steals per game.  Her highest scoring game was 34 points versus Happy in a regional qualifier contest.  Also ran track and cross country every year at Vega.  College Major:  Education   Hobbies:  Shopping, basketball, and texting   Personal:  Born July 3, 1991 in Plainview, Texas, Teysha is the daughter of Clay and Leann Matthews and she has three siblings; Tyson (22), Ali (6), and Trey (5).  She chose SPC because she knew this was where she wanted to continue her education and basketball career after attending Coach Michelle Wyatt's basketball camps since her sophomore year.  Favorite Athlete:  Larry Bird
