Brangers named NJCAA Div. I Men’s Basketball National Player of the Week

LEVELLAND — Following a pair of 30-point performances in his last two outings, sophomore Jordan Brangers was named the NJCAA Div. I Men's Basketball National Player of the Week on Wednesday.

The Louisville, Kentucky native poured in 35 on Nov. 10 against No. 22 Arizona Western and tied two career-highs against Coastal Bend College on Nov. 11 with 38 points and 10 3s.

Brangers currently ranks second in the country with a 29.8 points per game average and ranks ninth with 21 3s on the year.

Shooting 56.3 percent from the floor and 56.8 percent from 3, the Colorado State commit will try to help the No. 3-ranked Texans pick up a pair of wins this weekend when they host the SPC Classic beginning on Friday at the Texan Dome.
