
Tairu, who yesterday signed on the dotted line to play for Texas Tech next year, was named Most Valuable Player of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference, was a member of the All-Region 5 team, as well as a third team All-American this season. He also led the Texans averaging 17.5 points per game.
Tatum started every game for the Texans this past year and averaged 8.7 points and 5.8
assists per game while averaging almost 32 minutes per contest. Tatum will be reuniting with former Texan Luciano De Souza at the University of Idaho next season.
The division I all-star game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at the Odessa College Sports Center.
