CASPER, Wyoming — South Plains sophomore Lariat Larner was the lone competitor competing for the Lady Texans on day four of the College National Finals Rodeo Wednesday evening vowing for a spot in Saturday's finals.
Larner, who is representing the Lady Texans in goat tying and breakaway roping, made her third run in goat tying, turning in a final time of 8.6. With a final average of 21.8, Larner currently sits eighth overall. Larner is joined inside the top 10 by teammate Jenna Dallyn who is currently second in goat tying with a 20.0 average. The top 12 contestants advance to Saturday's finals.
