The South Plains College cheerleaders capped of their 2016-17 season with their cheer banquet at the Olive Garden in Lubbock on Tuesday, May 2. The cheer squad celebrated a busy, but fantastic year which included a final trip to Hutchinson, Kansas on March 20-25 to cheer on the Texan basketball team at the 2017 Men's Basketball National Tournament. Cheer sponsor Linda McCulloch treated the squad to one more meal to end what was a great season for all programs.
