BORGER — The South Plains College women's basketball team fell to Frank Phillips 60-52 on the road Thursday night at the Borger Community Activity Center.

South Plains moves to 13-15 on the season and 6-6 in league play, and will be back home on Monday night when they host No. 9 Odessa at 5:45 p.m. at the Texan Dome. Admission to the game is free, the first 150 fans will receive free t-shirts, and all fans will receive free hot dogs and hamburgers.

Maya Woodson finished with a game-high 12 points coming off the bench for South Plains, while Brendha Schwartz tallied 10 points, four boards, and four assists. Bella Belong netted eight points and nine boards as the Lady Texans shot 34 percent from the floor and 26.7 percent from distance.
