HOBBS, NM — Isabella Jaramillo and Dabria Blackwell combined for 33 points Friday as the South Plains College women's basketball team clipped Casper Community College 66-56 at the Caster Activity Center.

South Plains improves to 6-6 on the season and will be back on the floor Saturday when they take on McCook Community College at 3 p.m. in Hobbs. The contest will stream live at spctexans.com.

Jaramillo finished with a game-high 17 points and four boards, bucketing six of 11 shots from the field and was two of four from distance. Blackwell netted 16 points and six rebounds in 26 minutes, connecting on five of 12 shots from the field, and was four of eight from the 3-point line.

Jennifer Silva tallied 12 points and eight rebounds over 28 minutes, pouring in six of nine shots from the floor. Sahir Alizada turned in eight points and two assists as the Lady Texans shot a 40 percent clip in the contest and dropped in nine shots from distance.
