Courtney Randle joined the South Plains College Lady Texan basketball team after a year at La Marque, Texas. Randle finished the year with roughly 15 points and 7 rebounds per game. She represented South Plains in the WJCAC when she was awarded as a All-Conference player and Newcomer of the Year.
South Plains College welcomes Cayla Petree as the new head coach for the Lady Texan basketball team. Petree joined the team on April 9, 2015, and hit the ground running.
ODESSA - South Plains College Lady Texans will finish their season with a 9-19 season record, and a 5-9 in conference after their loss to Odessa College, Thursday night, pushing the Lady Texans out of a chance to play in the Region V Tournament in Brownwood, March 4-7.

LEVELLAND - Shazay Norris led the way with 17 points and 10 rebounds on Feb. 5, setting a double personal high for the season in points and rebounds, helping the Lady Texans shoot past Howard College Lady Hawks 53-51.
LEVELLAND - South Plains Lady Texans really pushed the ball down the court Monday night, Jan. 26 against the Odessa College Lady Wranglers. Putting up some good shots throughout the game, but just not enough, which resulted in the Lady Texans loss of 64-51.
MIDLAND, Texas – South Plains Lady Texans traveled to Midland, Texas to take on the Lady Chaps Jan. 22. Midland College took the win over South Plains 81-54.
LEVELLAND – South Plains Lady Texans defeated Frank Phillips College Lady Plainsmen, Jan. 19 in the Texan Dome. Courtney Randle led the team with 15 points and nine rebounds helping the Lady Texans final score 65-53.
CLARENDON – South Plains College traveled home with split games Monday night from Clarendon College. The Texans (13-4, 3-1) pocketed a win over the Bulldogs; and the Lady Texans had a three-point fall to the Lady Bulldogs.
LIBERAL, Kan. – The South Plains College Lady Texans will return to action following a two week layoff when they participate in the Seward County Billy's/Days Inn Classic Nov. 14-15.
THATCHER, Ariz. – The South Plains College Lady Texans earned a split in their first road trip of the year, falling to Eastern Arizona College 64-46 Friday night and then clobbering Chandler-Gilbert 91-43 Saturday afternoon at the Eastern Arizona Classic in Thatcher, Ariz.
