LEVELLAND, Texas – South Plains College Lady Texan sophomore standout TaSheena Moore will be playing for Northwestern State University during her final two years of collegiate eligibility, she announced Wednesday afternoon during a signing ceremony in the Texan Club lounge.
Moore started in all 28 games during her sophomore season and 56-of-58 for her career. She led the Lady Texans in scoring her freshman season during a run that led to a Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) championship while leading the team in rebounds this season.
Northwestern State finished this past season with a record of 21-13 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament after winning the Southland Conference tournament.
