LEVELLAND – The SPC Texan and Lady Texan basketball teams return to the Texan Dome Monday for their third conference home game of the season when they host Clarendon College at 5:45 and 7:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13.

The Lady Texans are looking to rebound from the first conference loss that came at the hands of New Mexico Thursday, while the third-ranked Texans are coming off a dramatic come-from-behind victory over the seventh-ranked T-Birds.

Live video of the games will be available at www.spctexans.com as well as on NTS channel 63.  Michael Wiiest will also call the action on KLVT 1230 AM.

Holiday Inn Express of Levelland is the game sponsor and has purchased t-shirts that will be thrown to the crowd throughout the games as well as door prizes that will be drawn at each halftime.

The Texans (16-1, 3-0) have won three straight since dropping a Dec. 28 contest in Mesa, Ariz. to Monroe College, now ranked eighth in the NJCAA and on Thursday came back from nine down to win in the final two minutes thanks to some clutch shots by Andre Spight and a game high 23 points from Billydee Williams.

Clarendon (5-10, 0-2) is seeking their first conference victory.

The Lady Texans (8-8, 2-1) look to rebound from their four-point loss to the Lady T-Birds Thursday night, a team they tied with for last season's WJCAC conference championship.

The Clarendon women boast an overall record of 8-7 but have yet to win in league play as they come in with a record of 0-2.
