The first half was rocky for the Texans who trailed 44-30. They gained the lead late in the game by five points at the four-minute mark but could not hold on.

Sophomore, Pat Birt, led the team with 29 points on a 5 -for- 5 shooting from the three-point line and 7-of-11 from the field during the second half. Emmanuel Omogobo led the Texans in rebounds with 9 for the game.
