Kadiri was efficient, making 16-of-21 shots from the field in 33 minutes of play.  Andre Horneconverted on 9-of-15 shots from the field to finish with 24 points while also dishing out nine assists and Brandon Neel hit 10-of-17 shots, ending the game with 23 points.

South Plains (3-1) outscored Wayland 16-2 in the opening minutes of the game and built up a 49-point halftime lead.

The Texans hit on their first six shots to start the second half that included two 3s apiece from Neel and Horne and a couple of buckets from Kadiri.

Next up for South Plains is a long road trip to Ottumwa, Iowa, where the third-ranked Texans will participate in the Bowling RV Classic, hosted by sixth-ranked and 2014 NJCAA Tournament runner-up, Indian Hills Community College.

On Friday, Nov. 14, the Texans will face Marshalltown CC (3-1) before squaring off with Indian Hills Saturday in a rematch of last year's NJCAA quarterfinal that saw the Warriors knock off the Texans in the final seconds and snapping South Plains' 10 game NJCAA Tournament winning streak.
