DENISON, Texas - Deshaunt Walker was one of three Texans to score in double figures, finishing the game with 15, but it was not enough as South Plains College fell to Collin County Community College 57-51 to fall to 4-4 on the season.
Stanton Kidd scored 13 and Brandon Thompson added 10 in the loss. Malcolm Miller andGreg Gainey scored eight and five points, respectively.
Next up for the Texans is the Collin County Thanksgiving Classic held November 26-27 in Plano, Texas. South Plains will look to avenge their loss from this past Friday when they take on Grayson at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 26th. They square off with Carl Albert State College at 4 p.m. Saturday, November 27th.
