Texans Fall to 1-3 in Conference Play With Loss at Odessa

ODESSA, Texas - The first ten minutes of the Texans matchup versus Odessa College showed SPC overpowering the tenth ranked Wranglers as they bolted out to a 16-6 lead four minutes into the ballgame and owned an eight point lead with 11 minutes to go in the half.

Unfortunately for SPC (11-7, 1-3 WJCAC), the Wranglers (18-2, 3-1) tied the game up 23-23 just over a minute later and went on a 25-9 scoring run from that point to go to the locker room up by 26 points, 58-32.

The Texans went on to fall to the Wranglers by the final score of 84-64 and return to action on Monday, January 25 against a Frank Phillips College team that beat Odessa 67-65 on Monday, January 21. Frank Phillips (16-4, 2-2) lost to the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos (9-10, 1-3) tonight 81-80.
