Former Texan Named Lone Star Conference Player of the Week Honor
CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M guardLaDarius Hall has been named Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the League Wednesday.

Normally playing the role of the Buffs' sixth-man, junior LaDarius Hall saw starting duty against Oklahoma Panhandle State. During that contest, the Thomasville, Ga., native tied a season-high with five three-pointers, en route to an 18-point outing. One game earlier, he hit 18 points in his accustomed reserve role against New Mexico Highlands on Dec. 29. Over the past week, he averaged 18.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 52.3 pct. from the field and 46.2 pct. from beyond the arc.

For the season, Hall is averaging 12.9 points per outing.
