2024 NJCAA Men’s Basketball National Tournament to air live on ESPN+

LEVELLAND — Posting a 31-2 record and champions of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference and the Region V Tournament, the South Plains College men's basketball team will head back to the NJCAA Men's Basketball National Tournament in search of the program's fourth national title.

The Texans will play as the No. 2 seed in the 24-team tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas, earning a bye in the first round as one of the top eight seeds. South Plains will take on the winner of No. 15 Panola, and No. 18 Jones on Monday, March 25 at 7:15 p.m. Panola and Jones are slated to play on Sunday, March 24 in the opening round, one of eight games scheduled for Sunday.

The NJCAA has partnered with ESPN to broadcast the tournament in its entirety this season, which will air live on ESPN+ and ESPNU. ESPN+ requires a subscription of $10.99/month, and can be accessed and downloaded via the ESPN App on your smartphone, ROKU, or smart TV. The Championship game, slated for Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m., will air live on ESPNU.
