The South Plains College men's and women's basketball teams will return to the hardwood on Thursday at the Texan Dome when they host Western Texas College.

The Lady Texans will tipoff at 5:45 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30. Both games will be streaming live at spctexans.com and Michael Wiiest of KLVT Radio Levelland will call the courtside action with pregame slated for 5:30.

The Texans come into the contest with a record of 12-5 on the year including a 4-1 mark in the WJCAC. South Plains knocked off New Mexico Junior College 69-58 on Monday night in Hobbs as they have won three of their last four outings.

The Westerners come into Thursday night with a record of 13-4 including a 2-2 mark in conference. Western Texas has dropped their last two outings, the most recent coming on Monday in Snyder when they fell to Odessa College 81-76.

The Lady Texans head into Thursday night with a record of 13-7 and will be looking for their first conference win of the year. Despite falling to second-ranked New Mexico Junior College on Monday night in Hobbs, the Lady Texans forced the Lady Thunderbirds to shoot just 41 percent from the field, their second-lowest shooting mark this season.

The Lady Westerners sit at 11-6 on the year including a 3-1 mark in conference play. Western Texas knocked off No. 22 Odessa College 47-46 Monday night in Snyder and also hold wins over conference foes Clarendon College and Howard.
